I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. I like to read, I like to write; I like to think, I like to dream; I like to talk, I like to listen. I like to see the sunrise in the morning, I like to see the moonlight at night; I like to feel the music flowing on my face, I like to smell the wind coming from the ocean. I like to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind, I like to do thought experiment when I cannot sleep in the middle of the night. I like flowers in spring, rain in summer, leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. I like to sleep early, I like to get up late; I like to be alone, I like to be surrounded by people. I like country’s peace, I like metropolis’ noise; I like the beautiful west lake in Hangzhou, I like the flat cornfield in Champaign. I like delicious food and comfortable shoes; I like good books and romantic movies. I like the land and the nature, I like people. And, I like to laugh.
I always wanted to be a great writer, like Victor Hugo who wrote "Les Miserable", or like Roman Roland who wrote "John Christopher". They have influenced millions of people through their books. I also wanted to be a great psychologist, like William James or Sigmund Freud, who could read people’s mind. Of course, I am nowhere close to these people, yet. I am just someone who does some teaching, some research, and some writing. But my dream is still alive.

1.I’m funny, I laugh even when I’m not supposed to and I often make others smile.
2.I can reinvent myself completely if needed, I’m quite fearless when I know I need to make a deep change.
3. I’m always looking at the lessons and the blessings even in the most challenging situations.
4.I’m quite compassionate, I’m not perfect but I try to be as loving as I can.
5. I forgive; always. And if it’s a deep wound I’ll do all the inner work I have to and then, I forgive; always.
This is a good exercise. I was a bit surprised, I consider that I’m a pretty self-loving person but this made me think about how often do I truly recognize my virtues and say nice things to myself.

My favourite outdoor activity is visiting parks, fields, playgrounds and open spaces with my close friends. I do it in one of the nearby parks, large play grounds, botanical gardens, besides a lake or river and in any similar natural open spaces. Sometimes I invite friends to come to such a place which is nearby my home or sometimes we do it in the different parts of the city we live in.
I often take my bicycle and use it as my transportation to reach those places. I cannot do it daily but I gather with my friends usually once or twice in a week. We go to the park or near a river, enjoy our time, gossip on different topics, talk about movies and books, enjoy our friends’ companion and so some short of physical exercises like walking, swimming, running or cycling.
I really like to spend time with my friends as they are very close to me and they are very good friends of mine. I like their companionship as we have lots of common interests. We learn things from each other and value our friendship. Moreover, we stay inside rooms be it house, university, office or other places, and this activity lets us spend time close to nature and in healthy and open environment. The open spaces give fresh air, eradicates our boredom and fatigue, and it is really refreshing to do some short of outdoor activities in the evening. For all these reasons, I like this outdoor activity more than any other outdoor activity I have.
